Crisis in Iceland

We are three from the group living together here in Buenos Aires (Saga, Finnur, Ragnheiður). You can see photos of the place we live in and the main places we have visited in these blogs:
http://www.123.is/saga (if you need a password it is snjolfur)
http://www.finnurb.blog.is
I´m just writing to see how all of your are doing as I know that it must have been difficult the last days/weeks because of the depreciation of our currency in Iceland and the difficult situation that some of our families and friend as well as ourselves are in. I hope that everything is going well and that the bad situation in Iceland isn´t affecting you to much. If some of you have blogs please send so I can see what you have been doing.
I will publish a photo of my little family here in Buenos Aires (unfortunately Elín isn´t on the picture).

100000 hugs and kisses,

Saga

China-men

Hi guys

Just wanted to say hi from the China-men in Qingdao. We are all here now - me, Gulli, Tjörvi and we saw Davíð and his lovely girlfriend 2 weeks ago. First thing, we took them to a Korean barbecue which in my opinion is the best food I have tried here. See below... Óðinn, I think you should try to master this cuisine...

Another food option here is to buy spicy clams, almost by the pallet, and plastic bags of draft beer from the beer factory that the Germans sort of left behind in this city. Qingdao beer is actually one of the most popular beers in China and of course we have taken a liking to it...

Tomorrow is the opening ceremony of the olympics and we will probably watch it on TV like some of you, but then we will go out on the town to soak up the atmosphere. Then on Saturday we will have an opening ceremony of our own in Qingdao which is about 300 meters from our place in a huge stadium. Fireworks and all...

Also, I bought playboy shoes and ate a scorpion. Liked the shoes better...

Blog access request

I guess I am very disadvantaged person here, since I cannot read most of the personal blogs... since I have not taken time to learn Icelandic yet...
Well what you gonna do, there is a place for everything in people's brain, I will catch up at some point...

But for now, Roman, could you give me an access to your blog, I hope you are not writing in Icelandic yet :)... and I saw you are in US, quite close to me, I am interested in your experience there.

Cheers,

Lyuba

Bella Barcelona

It will be fun to see what everybody are up to during the semester abroad. I have a site on http://web.mac.com/odinn where you can follow my adventures in Barcelona, which will start on the 30th of July. Also, you might find some great recipies because the site is more or less about one of my passions - food :-)

All the best,
Óðinn

Ok here´s the blog that i created for us. Go crazy, write what you want, i´m not going to be editing this page.
Oh you should also send me the URL´s for your individual blogs if you can´t put them on here yourselves, it could be that only the administrator (i.e. me) has permission to do it.

See you all in January :)
